Gods & Politics: Atheist Conference in Copenhagen
The international conference “Gods & Politics” is co-hosted by Atheist Alliance International and the Danish Atheist Society.
The conference takes place june 18th through 20th, 2010, in the classy surroundings of the Royal Danish Library (The Black Diamond) in Copenhagen, Denmark. Click “Information” in the menu for more details on venue, transportation, etc.
Danish Atheist Society (DAS)
DAS (in danish: Ateistisk Selskab) is a society for non-religious people. The society works for the separation of church and state at all levels, such as in the constitution or biased religious teaching in public schools. The members participate in the public debate and support people who aim at having an individual, non-religious, rational world view. DAS is a non-profit organization and is not affiliated with any political parties. DAS is a member of AAI.
Atheist Alliance International” (AAI)
AAI is an umbrella organization of groups and individuals in the United States and around the world committed to promoting and defending reason and the atheist worldview.
AAI’s vision is to transform society into one that supports and respects a worldview based on the values of reason, empiricism and naturalism, and respects and protects the separation of religion and government.
AAI’s mission is to develop and provide educational, advocacy, and community-building programs for the atheist community that assist towards fulfilling the above vision.
