Jens Morten Hansen (62) is MS and PhD in geology and palaeontology. As a scientist he has worked primarily in the field of environmental and energy geology, and during 20 years in management. In 2006 he left a position as managing director of the Danish Research Councils in order to resume his research in global change and training of geology student in philosophy. At the present he holds positions as ‘State Geologist’ at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland and adj. professor in natural philosophy at Copenhagen University.
